'How can a digital paintstroke be as sensual as real oil paint?'
Bring cuteness and edge to your home with the smudge pillow. It's warm colors integrate well into a wide variety of interiors.
Digitally printed velvet in the front, black cotton satin in the back, closed with a black zipper.
The "smudge pillows" are derived from the artwork "Openinghours". In 2013 Walter Van Beirendonck asked Flora Miranda to design an artpiece for the exhibition "Happy Birthday Dear Academy" at Modemuseum Antwerp, for the section "gender". The digital "smudge" painting resulted from this project, printed as a velvet curtain in the dimension of 5m heigth x 25m length. In the pictures you can see the piece exhibited at Fashionclash Festival in 2015. The artpiece was also exhibited at museum Z33 in 2019.
